Engagement path

The engagement path

A clear route from first conversation to closing review — designed for sponsors who need process adoption without theatre.

Advisors mapping an engagement path on a whiteboard

This page is for sponsors who want to know what happens after they enquire — before they commit to a programme.

Stage 1 — Discovery call

We listen for the named process, the teams affected, and any previous attempts. If the work is a redesign problem rather than an adoption problem, we say so early.

Stage 2 — Scope note

You receive a short written scope with suggested consultation type, estimated fees, travel assumptions, and a provisional calendar. No long proposal deck unless you ask for one.

Stage 3 — Floor listening

We observe the work as it happens: handovers, planning meetings, dispatch huddles, or clinic briefings. Notes stay specific to the process in scope.

Stage 4 — Manager equipping

Coaching clinics

Supervisors practise explaining the change and handling the objections they already hear on the floor.

Communication sequence

Briefings and materials are timed to rota cycles so people are not asked to absorb everything in one email.

Stage 5 — Supported use

During the first cycles of the new process, we stay available for quick course corrections. Mid-point reviews look at both completed steps and the stories behind skipped ones.

Stage 6 — Closing review

We meet the sponsor with a plain summary of what stuck, what still slips, and what leadership should own next. The engagement ends with clear hand-back — not an open-ended retainer unless you request ongoing clinics.
